IPRO, the Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) under contract with CMS is charged with supporting nursing home communities to promote improved healthcare services and quality of care for Medicare beneficiaries; working with diverse providers and the community on data-driven quality initiatives to improve resident safety, and improve clinical care; thus, making care safer by reducing Healthcare-Acquired Conditions (HAC) in Nursing Homes.

The IPRO QIN-QIO is developing a strategy to guide local, state and national efforts in improving the quality of care in nursing homes. The IPRO QIN-QIO team of Quality Improvement Specialists is recruiting long-term care community providers to improve nursing home performance through enhanced consumer engagement, creation of strategic partnerships, and the advancement of quality through innovation.
