Guidelines:
NYSHFA | NYSCAL Associate Members are businesses and organizations that provide goods, services, or professional expertise to nursing facilities and residential care communities. This membership is ideal for those with a vested interest in supporting New York’s long-term care industry.
To ensure alignment with our mission, Associate Membership is unavailable to:
- Providers or facilities that are eligible for facility-based membership
- Entities offering competing memberships, programs, or services
Eligibility Requirements:
- Application Approval: All applications are subject to review and approval by the NYSHFA | NYSCAL Board of Directors or their designated representative, based on the qualifications and procedures established by the Board.
- Dues Policy:
- If the application is approved, membership dues are non-refundable
- If the application is denied, a full refund will be issued
- Board Discretion: The NYSHFA | NYSCAL Board of Directors retains the right to approve or deny any application at its discretion.
- Annual Dues Renewal:
- Associate Member dues are renewed annually, with payment due by January 1st
- Payments not received by January 31st may result in the suspension of membership benefits
- Database Access: NYSHFA | NYSCAL maintains an up-to-date database of mailing addresses and contact information for all Associate Members, accessible to association members for professional use.
